Wendy's - Nasty Manager Gave Me a Bug in My Drink

JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA -- I went through the drive thru and asked for 2 regular fresh hot 5 piece nuggets, 2 deluxe burgers and 1 Sprite & Root Beer. The lady replied "its lunch time' I said and what does that mean? Everything is always fresh. I said not all the time, that's why I'm requesting for a hot meal. Thank you, I'll pull around. She me 2 drink the lid was dirty with mustard and dirt on it. I gave it back and asked for a clean lid. She gave me a drink and I said thank you. I grabbed my food, pulled up and the food was cold. I get out with my and open my drink and there's a fly floating in my drink. I asked for the manager. The same lady said she was the manager. I said, wow you're putting flies in drinks. She replied I didn't fix it and slammed a medium cup on the counter and said fix your own. She didn't apologize or anything and I gave her food. She yelled get me some fresh nuggets and then dropped them in the bag and walked off.

Personally, I would find a new place to eat - it sounds like you have had a pattern of trouble at this one, and this incident takes it to a new level.

Um....every Wendy's I've ever been to makes the food fresh when you order it. They don't just have cooked food sitting around getting cold. I'm not excusing the bug in your drink or the way she reacted but it wasn't necessary to ask for fresh hot food.

if you suspect this was deliberate, contact the local health department and file a complaint. that will get their attention!
