Lowe's - Wrong Item # on my $400.00 purchase
Bathroom vanity - Complaint
FLINT, MICHIGAN -- Selected a vanity with vessel sink and faucet, they said they had it. Went to buy everything that matched. They said it would take a couple of days to get it, but I paid for it. Got a call from Lowe's and they stated that it would be 6-8 weeks for delivery. Not acceptable. I went online and found the item at a Lowe's store 29 miles away. Told them to hold it and I would call the Lowe's in my area to get it. Talked with a manager and they said they would take care of it. Received a message that I ordered the wrong item number. Called the store and verified the cabinet, and called the manager and he got testy. Finally admitted that the clerk had the wrong item number and they would have in the following week. This is after I threatened to take back everything I bought. So sick of this, I will go to my every listening HOME DEPOT, and never deal with Lowe's again. YOU, LOWE'S, have lost a customer that spends thousands every year on home upgrades. Hope you go under, I will never do business with you again, and I am still taking everything back.
