AT&T Uverse - Still No Service Available

ATLANTA, GEORGIA -- Four years ago AT&T sent contractors into our neighborhood to install lines for Uverse. They dug up our yards but we were encouraged that we would now have an alternative to Comcast. After four years we are still waiting. When I call AT&T they continue to insist that they are expanding service and will review in six months. But we still don't have Uverse. What can we do to encourage Uverse to put in the equipment necessary to provide service. But more important is why was Uverse given government incentives to dig up my yard when they had no intention of providing service in the near future.

Consider yourself lucky. It's simply UNRELIABLE SERVICE! Any thunderstorm will knock your service out. Ours happened three times.. we were without service for a week.. no phone, TV, or www. Think about that when you keep trying to get this service.

These companies are constantly making decisions on whether or not to expand in various markets - it is possible they got some infrastructure installed and then decided not to proceed.

In my area a VZ tech told me when we were slated to get FiOS, then a year later the same tech told me we are never getting it.
