Sprint Hotspot Stinks
NEW HAMPSHIRE -- I have a 2nd home up in New Hampshire. While walking through Best Buy my wife and I were approached by a store rep regarding a hot spot special that they had at the time from Sprint. Both of us are not computer literate so we had many questions regarding this device, we were told that we would be able to sit on Hampton Beach with this device and surf the Internet. More important, I wanted it to use at my house. This device worked terribly, dropping Internet etc. We were locked into a contract for two years, we put up with this piece "" """" for almost one year before calling and complaining, after three complaints, Sprint was able to see that we were hardly ever using it, minutes each weekend, that a rep and manager told my wife that they understood and agreed that Sprint has minimal service in Hampton, NH and that they would disconnect the device and provide a Fed Ex return so we can ship it back and we would have no early termination fee, guess what, they charged us $140.00 for early termination. We called and naturally they have no record of the calls we made and no record of this manager or rep that waived the early termination fee. We would have kept this piece "" """" instead of terminating. I am aggravated about the fee but more about the deceitfulness. Do not deal with Sprint. This complaint is one of many to follow. The Better Business Bureau is next.
