Beware of Bosch Tankless Water Heater! Dangerous Defect!

SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA -- Our tankless water heater was maintained regularly but continued a problem where the gas heater valve would not shut off properly causing the water heater to continue burning like a pressure cooker. This blew up the heater and caused expensive pipe damage, along with a major fire hazard had we not shut the gas off in time.
Bosch customer service put up roadblock after roadblock in order to duck responsibility for this FAULTY PRODUCT. They were obviously well aware that this was a common problem and were in damage control mode over the phone. We will never purchase another Bosch product of any kind after their rude and unprofessional behavior. Tankless water heater buyers BEWARE of Bosch.
