AUSTIN, TEXAS -- They said I had 20 emails in my inbox, so I paid to see.
Not one was a personal email, just things sent by their robots.

I then tried to disable my account and cancel my service, but they kept charging me, causing an NSF on my rent check.

Is there a connection between roomates.com and roomster.com?

I never give my debit card # to anyone. I use a CC. With that at least you have a dispute mechanism, and it also decouples your cash from others. My debit card I only use at ATMs.
