Microwave - Complaint

I also have been having problems with mines. Electric panel went out 3 different times and is out again right now. The service technicians replaced that same part each time, but it did not last very long. The warranty has run out and any repairs is out my pocket versus buying another under the counter microwave. The product did its job when working but the same old problems each time raises concern about making products with inferior faulty electronic gadgets or panels.

How long have you owned the unit? I we talking about decade(s) of use?

@Uncle JR

Microwave ovens have become so inexpensive these days that they are very close to becoming throwaway items when they fail.

If you'd like to go the repair route, your best course of action for a failure prone electronics board is to find an independent repair depot that performs board repairs at the component level. Admittedly, such techs are becoming rare creatures in today's throwaway society, but they do exist. A good tech can identify the weakness in the board and undergo prudent remedial steps, making modifications, such as installing heavier duty components, installing additional surge protection and/or heat sinking, etc. More often than not, the component level repair cost is considerably less than the cost of a new board.

Be aware that the highly skilled tech is almost always a much better value to the consumer than the parts changer guy.
