21 Century Auto Group - Assistance after Sandy
Review by jam.lombardi on 2012-11-19
SPRINGFIELD, NEW JERSEY -- I moved to the Bayonne area about 4 years ago after college and have lived here ever since. I have been looking for a car for about 2 months now and couldn't ever find something that was my style and in my price range. I assumed that when you have a tight budget you kind of have to take what you can best get.
A friend of mine told me they purchased their car at this dealership and eagerly mentioned that I should stop and check it out. It was a little difficult to find a salesperson but the girls at the service desk were really nice and set me up with a sales person: Umair.
Umair was fantastic! First thing he asked was my budget and what interested me and he didn't try and sell me anything other then what I could afford. I found the perfect car and everything was working out great! I am writing this review because what happened next was incredible. When Umair realized I lived in the Bayonne area, he asked me if I had been affected by the hurricane. Sadly I mentioned I had a lot of water damage and had been out of work on unemployment for almost 5 weeks because my job was closed. Umair excused himself and when he came back, he said he was going to take an extra 1400.00 off my car price because the dealership was really trying to work with victims of hurricane sandy and understood the hard economic times. Who does this ??? I still can't believe anyone would even care, especially a dealership.
I am soooo grateful to these people and the business for really showing me the best customer service and for allowing me to drive a BMW and still stay in my payment range! I can't thank them enough and figured this was the best way to do so: Thank you 21 Century and staff!
