Walmart - Management treatment
WATERTOWN, WYOMING -- After purchasing items at the store and checking out I went out in the parking lot. My car was blocked in by shopping carts which were out in the middle of the lot. There was a Walmart employee picking up carts above me who did not come down or pay any attention to all these carts blocking the driveway behind my car and several cars next me mine. I grabbed and pushed the carts blocking my car trying to get the attention of the Walmart employee. The employee ignored me and returned to the store. I went inside asked for a manager. After several minutes one came. I told her when I arrived at the store there were no carts inside I had to go get one from the lot. After shopping I came out to see all these carts that had blown free from the rack behind my car. The manager did not appoligize for the inconvenience of my having to remove carts myself to get out of my parking space. She said we have someone out picking up carts. I told me that person ignored the fact that carts were all over the lot, did not help in any way. The manager did not seem to care.
After I left the store again, I waited several minutes looking around the lot for this employee who was suppose to be out in the lot picking up carts. No one came after 5 minutes or more I left Walmart, driving around numerous carts still behind other cars and went home. Since I am a senior citizen I did not feel it was my job to remove these carts and I did not appreciate the manager not caring or sending someone out immediately so other customers did not have to drive around the remaining carts. I feel that Walmarts managers need to be more respectful of customers who spend a lot of money in their stores. My car was not hit by these carts otherwide if they had been I would have let the locate police talk with this rude young manager with regards to this incident. I have lost faith in Walmarts saying how the customer is number one.
