Dish Network - Very Uncaring

KILLEEN, TEXAS -- I have a 2 year contract with them that ends in 4 months. Had to relocate due to needing to find a job because my current one is downsizing. My new apartment has cable included, I called to cancel my service, advising them of the situation. I as told that when I was looking for an apartment I knew I had a contract with them and I will need to pay $240 for the contract to end. I am not shopping for apartments based on ability to continue with dish. Was looking for price/square footage ratios with the most benefits. It was an uncaring thing to say and the whole situation is very uncaring; moving is already expensive and I have been with them for over 3.5 years (this is my second 2 year sign up in a row). You would think they would rather have returning long term customers but the next time I rent I will be adding another variable to my criteria - as long as the service area is with anyone but dish.

We do have options for people who have to move due to natural disasters to the home or military orders.
