Booked my hotel room and air for myself and husband. Found out they didn't give me my discount (a few days later tried to book same info - found they overcharged me $150 - never receive their ADVERTISED discount for booking flight and hotel together). Called to see if they could fix it. ALL I got was "I am sorry YOU would have needed to call within 24 hours to fix this." SO now it's my problem that I didn't catch them overcharging me. Horrible customer service and rude.

Third party travel discounters have a well earned reputation of giving bargain prices (not always the lowest ones) and providing poor service if there is any problem with bookings, billing, etc. For this reason, I book directly with hotels and airlines. If there is a problem, I am their customer and not the contractor.

I couldn't begin to agree with Alain more. Way too many complaints with all the third-party sites. I'd never use them.

If you have proof as to what the advertised price was supposed to be, I'd dispute the charge with your credit card company, which is what you hopefully used to book the rate. I would hope the bank could force the issue and require them to make it right with you.
