Phone Customer Service - Complaint
At 4pm I was trying to order something online… it came to the end of the transaction and I had FREE shipping- yay! But then I had something to do at work and I didn't pull the trigger. At about 8pm same day, I went online and went through the steps again.. no free shipping. um? what happened? We're talking a large order with over $100 in shipping costs!! Free shipping would have been a godsend since I'm 8.5 months pregnant.
So I called Customer Service and the representative had no idea what he was talking about, he said that promos can end at any time… he had no explanation, no documentation as to when the promo was supposed to end or when it even started. I asked if I could order over the phone and he could input the free shipping, but he said they didn't have that capability. Really?
I started to get frustrated, because he couldn't give me a straight answer- just that they had free shipping a few hours ago and now it isn't available. I said what is this a magical world where babies r us just pulls their own tricks.. he got cocky and said in a magical world one would expect that there would be free shipping all the time!! Excuse me!!??
I asked to speak to a manager and he put me on hold, next thing I know I'm hung up on!!
