Jewelry - Complaint
OVERLAND PARK, KANSAS -- Overland Park, KS. I am beyond p****d with the experience I had today November 30, 2012 with Wal-mart. I never really liked shopping there anyway. On this particular time I chose to utilize their online ordering. I purchased a piece of fine jewelry, which I believed I would have received much satisfaction. I had it shipped to the store. I am not sure what happened when I placed my order but it gave me the option of choosing home delivery or store delivery. I clearly picked store delivery and it indeed went to the store with my a confirmation from UPS. However, according to the store, because my shipping information indicated something different than site to store they were unable to locate the merchandise. Now I find it odd that you would get a piece of merchandise and not know what to do with it. If you receive merchandise that does not have the correct shipping information but has the store address then I feel they should have a location to keep these items or either send it back to the shipper. This is not what happened. Instead I was at the store from 4:30 to 7:30 for them to figure out what happened to my merchandise. I wanted to purchase the same item in the store that I purchased online but a unfriendly Customer Service Manger(female) would not allow me to do it and offered me a refund. I did not want a refund right then and there because I was sure the merchandise is in their store. However, I was not able to leave with satisfaction and frustrated even more trying to resolve the issue online. Needless to say, I did not get my merchandise and not a happy camper. I am so frustrated and disappointed that it is very difficult for me to even write this complaint. Thanks for listening.
