Home Ins. - Complaint
RICHMOND, VIRGINIA -- I purchased a homeowners policy from Travelers back in 2011 and thereafter properties were stolen from my home. Travelers refused to pay in bad faith the claim and said because I am a member of an LLC, who sold to me the properties and gave me written receipt for same and that I had to get proof from of purchase from SPRINT which I did. But, when I got the proof from SPRINT the items were more then they expected and around and about $20,000.00 more then my original claim were, then Martha [snip], the claim adjuster offered to settle my claim for the amount of the receipt from my LLC, because it was much lesser, when I refused the offer as not being full compensation for my total loss the Travelers after the closing of their investigation wanted me to submit to an examination under oath "when my policy clearly states if we or you fail to agree on the amount of the loss either my demand an appraisal of the loss" which I did demand an appraisal of the loss but Travelers refused in bad faith to follow the terms and condition of my policy.
