Burger King - False Advertisement
Whopper - Complaint

LAKE GENEVA, WISCONSIN -- Burger King is airing commercials for buy a Whopper and get one for. 55cents. When purchasing the special, I was charged full price on second Whopper.

Alot of times its not at all burger kings..Most commercials are from corp and you have to ask the one your at if they are running same sale..

According to their commericals and website the promotion doesn't begin until December 6th.

The commercial and the signs in their stores specify the dates as Dec. 6-9. This is only the third so there is no false advertisement.

Did you ask them about it when they charged you? Those specials are usually advertised as, 'At participating locations' and the location you went to may not be participating.

The commercial airing in my area specifically states that the promotion begins on December 6. It would appear that you attempted to get the special a few days before the promotion begins. It starts Thursday.
