Southwestern Bell - Service SUCKS

WINFIELD, KANSAS -- My mother is an 84 yr old widow. Her phone has been out of service for 4 days now. I have made 3 trouble reports and her neighbor has made 1 report. There is no reason for this whatsoever. She pays her bill on time. I pray she doesn't get sick or have some sort of emergency because she has no way to contact anyone for help. I just hope she decides to drop her home phone now and get a cell phone.

Does anyone in the family have a cellphone she can use...if she's able to use one? My Dad is 87 and we had phone trouble and was without a phone for three or four days, but he doesn't really understand how to use a cellphone, (I have only just for emergencies and it use in cases like this where our landline may be out of service). During that time, I wouldn't even leave him home alone long enough for me to take a run to the store. I just didn't want him to be here without a phone if he needed it. So, I know how you feel and I don't blame you for being upset.
