T.G.I.F Friday's - Horrible Service Totally Ignored and Overcharged

SOUTH CHARLESTON, WEST VIRGINIA -- The hostess seated the 4 of us, my girlfriend went back to the hostess 35 minutes later and asked where the waitress was. 15 minutes later the waitress got our drinks and took the order, we didn't see her anymore. The cook brought out the food so we asked for refills he replied that wasn't his job. Later the waitress brought the check out she hadn't split the check when she did she tried to over charge for drinks that were free refill drinks. The restaurant wasn't busy so no excuse for the poor service. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant! I then reported the awful service and asked for a refund and the customer service hasn't bothered to even respond to the complaint.

That is horrible customer service, but you need to ask for compensation while you are there, IMO. I wouldn't wait for more than maybe 5 to 8 minutes for a server to appear at a restaurant like this, before asking where my server is. Been there, done that.

This could have been a really poor server, poor management, or both.

I would classify T.G.I.F. as one of the worst run restaurants around. I've been to 4 different ones and have never had a good meal at anyone of them. I honestly don't know how they stay in business.

I only ate at T.G.I.F Friday's a couple times and found the food and service to be very mediocre at best.
