I have a reverse osmosis water filtration system that requires three filters to be replaced every six months. Two months ago I ordered replacement filters with specific part numbers which were delivered to me. I inspected the delivery and verified the part number labels as being what I ordered. When I went to install one of the filters it had a different part number than the label listed on the plastic wrap. It was unusable.
Amazon's return policy specifically states 30 days. This purchase was from an outside vendor over 60 days ago. I'm thinking that I'll have to eat this. Sent them an email explaining the problem. The vendor promptly responded in less than 24 hours with an apology. They will send the correct filter to me with an address label to return the incorrect filter postage free. Wow, I was impressed. Are you listening Sears and Best Buy?
