CVS - Don't expect to receive any item you don't pay full price for!
I ordered an expensive electric toothbrush through cvs.com during their Black Friday sale. In fact, I ordered it online on Thanksgiving night. I also ordered a curling iron that was not on sale. Two weeks, and multiple emails confirming my order details later, I received my package. When I opened it, the only item in the box was the FULL PRICED curling iron. There was a hastily scribbled note saying "credit to be applied," and a highlighter mark through the listing of the toothbrush. I am a student, so having gotten this toothbrush on sale was the only way I could afford it. But now, I have no toothbrush and my chance to get it somewhere else (read: from a competitor) has passed. I would not be so upset if I had had some indication that I would not receive my full order. However, I was given no notice whatsoever. I had seen the same item at the same price from 2 other merchants, but made the deliberate choice to purchase from CVS, even after multiple issues with the online ordering system. I will no longer shop with CVS, and will encourage my friends and family to shop elsewhere as well.
