BELLEVUE, NEBRASKA -- I brought my 66 Mustang in fully restored to have a new heavy duty clutch installed..he installed the clutch and and disconnected my parking brake cable.. and the bushings to the clutch peddle he didn't install.. the clutch was so tight I couldn't push down on the peddle. I contacted him several times, he told me I would get used to it.. the spring broke to the peddle. i told him and he has put me off for over a month and a half..he also fixed a few other things that I didn't give the go ahead that cost me 500 dollars more then the estimate..he was checking the heater core and now I have antifreeze all over my new carpet..while he had my car his son told me he would drive it all over with his Black lab in the car..the dog scratched up my interior and chew a hole in my new upholstered seats!!!I have taken pictures and will take him to court, will need to have the repairs done that he left me..BEWARE and I will not stop until this person is shut down!!!!

The concern I would have as a lawyer or judge is finding proof that the individual actually did drive around with a dog and allowed him to chew a hole in the upholstery.

If you can both show a cost of the damages and absolutely show it was due to his negligence, then you may have a case. My guess is that just going into court claiming he was riding around with a dog chewing on your seats is not going to tip the scales in your favor.

Please keep us posted. I'd like to hear the outcome.
