DISH TV - Failure to Arrive for Install Appointment
Install 2nd Receiver - Complaint
Resolution Update on 12/16/2012:
Today, Sunday following the original appointment, an installer arrived to perform the scheduled install. Job done well and professionally.
MADISON CO., KENTUCKY -- Appointment for install of second receiver was this morning, 8-noon. No installer arrived. No notice for failure to appear was received. Lost the morning to waiting in-home. Call to DISH results in a new appointment (I requested first available) for Sunday morning.
During my initial request for this new equipment I asked for the return of the original installer. He did a good job, has my confidence. I know they exist.
Upon subsequent confirmation of address and contact info for the rescheduled install...for the 3rd time...I was offered a "back channel" phone number to further my complaint. This number did not get me to DISH. It was to a solicitation for a "free" cruise, with no customer service being available or offered. Worthless
