Suddenlink - POOR Service for Internet

ST JOSEPH, MISSOURI -- For 3 wks now, since Nov 30th, I have had probs with the internet service provided by Suddenlink. All of my addresses in my mailbox (approximately 80) and all the emails I had left in the inbox were gone. I called almost everyday wanting answers, but was told their "experts" were working on it. No date when it would be fixed was given.
I finally put in as many as I could find and then was able to send some emails. Of course though now it sends the email, but puts like 6 incomplete copies in the draft box. I have gotten my older emails returned, but I'm still waiting on the address box to be returned. Still no time frame given. What kind of "experts" do they have?

You aren't alone in your dsisatisfaction. The are a number of complaints about Suddenlink both here and on other consumer sites. St. Joe has a lot of other possible Internet providers to choose from, both small and national. You may want to give one of them a try. You can also try giving Suddenlink's home office (12444 Powerscourt Dr., Ste. 450, St Louis, MO 63131) a call at 1-314-315-9500 and see if that helps. If you have the time, it wouldn't hurt to make an official complaint at http://www.fcc.gov/complaints and http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/index.shtml

This is unreasonable, they should be able to find an answer. I suggest backing up or synching your contact addresses into a third party program and most certainly would find another provider at least for email.
