AT&T - Nightmares Galore!!

PASADENA, CALIFORNIA -- Have had major nightmares setting up my internet with Uverse (ATT). Just received a "welcome" letter from D. Cogswell and saw your post. I've called customer service and am told a supervisor would get back to me as they were all busy. I got an astronomical bill after being told 11/6 they would take off charges for a tech (who never showed) coming out. They didn't and I've never heard back (almost a week later) from a supervisor. My bill should be $177 and once paid I receive a $50 rebate gift card, however, the bill they sent was $645. to set up internet in a small 1 bedroom cottage, not. I would like to be in touch with the Executive Director, Customer Relationship Management (I feel this is an oxymoron) as all I'm getting are a bunch of I'm sorries!

It sounds like they've reviewed the bill with you and found that the charges are legitimate. Unfortunately, without more details as to the differences between your tabulations and theirs, it would be difficult to conclude either way.

If the charges with this statement are legitimate, don't ignore them. Not paying the charges can cost more in interest, late payments and collection costs. In addition to reporting the information negatively on multiple credit reports.
