Verizon Wireless - Inactive Pricing Request
Unlimited Data Plan - Complaint
Review by wiley_98 on 2012-12-16
PITTSBURGH, PENNSYLVANIA -- On December 12, 2012 I submitted an Inactive Pricing Request (IPR) with Verizon Wireless to have them restore the Unlimited Data Plan that I had on my daughter's iPhone 4. On November 5, 2012 I brought her iPhone 4 to the Verizon Wireless store at the Beaver Valley Mall in Center, PA. Her phone's screen became cracked when someone at school accidentally stepped on her purse while the phone was inside the purse. The phone worked fine but the screen was cracked. We went to the store to exchange the iPhone 4 for the same exact one and we were able to do so by using my husband's upgrade and turning in the broken iphone. Unknown to me the data plan was changed from the Unlimited Data plan to the 2GB plan. I didn't realize it until I started to get Data message updates regarding my daughter's number. I called Verizon twice and I was told to submit the IPR but that the Unlimited Data Plan may not be restored because its been more than 14 days. Way to go Verizon Wireless, treating your good paying customers like crap and being sneaky at the same time!
