Subway - False Advertising
2.00 Sandwich Special - Complaint

WARWICK, RHODE ISLAND -- Their add on TV shows 4 meatballs on the 2.00 meatball special. when I picked up the sandwich it had 3 small meatballs and a little sauce. The sandwich was mostly bread.

That was likely the local manager trying to cut corners to make food cost. Subway is very restrictive to their managers about that. And the worst part about the Subway "Meatball" sandwich is that the so called meatballs have a LOT of soy filler. Just ask to see the ingredients list on the box they come in. Want a really good meatball sub? Pay a bit more and go to Firehouse Subs, you will not be disappointed

Did you bring this to the attention of the manager. Subway is known for being cheap with their toppings. But the worst offender is quizno's in my opinion.

The real issue isn't 3 or 4 meatballs. Overall I find Subway very disappointing. The overall food quality is poor and they premeasure everything. Their product is almost laughable compared to a good Philly Cheese Steak or Hoagie. Subway is a bottom end chain joint that sells a huge volume of crap food. Shop around and you will find better.
