The Children's Place - Poor Merchandise Quality and Even Poorer Customer Service
Boys Denim Bootcut Jeans - Complaint
I purchased 8 pairs of jeans and 5 of them had holes in them after less than 2 months of wear. One of the store managers told me she would be glad to replace them but when I brought them in, they couldn't switch them out as my "transaction was declined". I have had to jump through hoops to get the jeans replaced including having to speak to a very rude customer service person who was not clear in her explanations and was impatient and short with me the whole time when I asked questions for clarification. I then went back into a store to explain the situation to see if they could help me in any way and had another smart mouthed clerk tell me that it would just happen again and blamed my son for being hard on his jeans. I told him this brand of jeans are the only ones I have ever had a problem with. He said he would try but I again ran into the same problem. I will NEVER be buying from here again when it would be like lighting a match to my money. I am really not interested in replacing my sons jeans every 2 months nor having to pay any difference in the purchase price and current price when it should be an even exchange. I have had Target jeans last longer than The Children's place brand. It is ridiculous and after visiting their Facebook page I realize my experience is not unique and there are A LOT of other consumers out there with merchandise quality issues and not getting their orders from online and the same customer service result issues seems to be the same theme throughout all. The Chidren's Place has a real problem on their hands. If I were the CEO or CMO I would be getting in front of this really fast.
