Dixie - Scented Plates?

Review by 175193 on 2012-12-17
I always buy Dixie paper plates, The recent ones I bought have a scent to them kind of like Lysol or glade type scent.

This is the first time I have bought paper plates that were scented. I don't like my paper plates scented when I'm eating on them. I'm not sure what the purpose of this is. But I'll stop buying this brand of plates if they continue having them scented.

The ones I had bought had some were a pack of 50 with flower designs on them.

If the plates I'm using are scented like disinfectant, then my cooking has gotten really bad or I have to question if the paper plates are made of some very strange recycled paper. Either way, I think I'll use another brand. Any chance they stored the plates under some cleaning fluid? Thanks for the review. I'll sniff before I buy!

the items could have been sprayed while at the store by a customer on accident.

Ewwww...that doesn't sound very good.
Do you think they are supposed to be flower scented like the design? Even if that's the case, who would want fragrance scented plates...now, if they were scented like roastbeef...nevermind...still not a good idea!

I've found your review to be very helpful, and voted it as such.

Just about every plate I sniffed was scented. So I doubt it was cause of the store.
