I just dealt with customer service of Bits and Pieces. I had ordered some items from their site on Sunday eve (12/2) and wanted it by the end of the week (12/7). So, I had paid on top of the $5 standard shipping, the additional $12 for express shipping as I was leaving for 2 weeks starting 12/9. The Email notification stated estimated delivery 12/12 - 12/14, no problem. Friday eve no package, flew out on Sunday. Sent email Sunday that was not pleased that I had paid the additional and package has not arrived. A reply came in that they would credit back $7.99, now I am dealing with getting the additional $4 back.

I called my neighbor and he said the package arrived at my door Monday 12/17, he said it was UPS standard ground. This to me is like false advertising as express to me would be 3-4 day UPS shipping. I now have to shop for 3 presents and deal with getting a refund from them when I return. This has been 1 mess of what I thought would be a simple order, oh well live and learn. Never again from this site!!!

Update: The dates are incorrect. Meant ordered 12/9, left town 12/16.

I can appreciate the frustration. They should have shipped the way they promised. With that said, I still question the value of purchasing 'mail-order'. It becomes a lot simpler to just get the merchandise when you pay for it.
