alienware computers Complaint - customer service
MIAMI, FLORIDA -- This $3500 computer, purchased for my son's high school graduation in 2005, broke while at Penn State University in Dec. 2005.
After a day of use, my son closed it up until he needed it the next day. When he opened the laptop the screen was cracked and unable to use.
Up front the Alienware company asked for $260 to, I guess, just look at the machine.
Customer service at Alienware in Miami were apparently trained to say a lot of nothing and that your unit was in 'diagnostics'hoping that you would be satisfied with their answer. Wrong!
Alienware is saying that the screen broke due to misuse. Apparently I am not the only one with problems with the Alienware company as they take no credit that maybe their unit was faulty in the first place.
I wish I had viewed the feedback information regarding Alienware BEFORE I purchased the unit.
I would never even concider buying another Alienware computer and will be spreading my disgust about the company to as many people as will listen to me!
I am not typically a vendictive person... but I feel I have been ripped off in a big way.
