LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY -- We reluctantly purchased a sofa and chair 3 weeks ago, assured 99% the delivery could be before christmas (3 weeks from purchase) told today that furniture is at site but delivery trucks are already full for the next 3 days and we won't get furniture until Dec 27. baa humbug, they really just don't care

Looking at the many Ashley complaints similar to yours, I can only conclude you're absolutely right: Ashley doesn't care about their customers. Thanks for the review and yet another reason not to shop at Ashley!

Michael, you are at two disadvantages. The first is that many furniture purchases lead to delays in delivery. The second is that you purchased from Ashley, which is somewhat equivalent to shopping at WallsMart in terms of customer service.
I note that they assured you "99%", which is 1% short of a guarantee.

THEY CALLED US TODAY (FRIDAY) TO RUB IN THE FACT THAT THE SOFA AND CHAIR ARE AT THEIR WAREHOUSE BUT THEY CANT FIT THEM ON THE DELIVERY TRUCK TO DELIVER PAID 109.00 FOR THIS DELIVERY I CRIED 1/2 THE DAY OVER THIS FURNITURE LIQ. WILL BE DELIVERING ALL DAY SUNDAY AND MONDAY

Do you have it in writing that the agreement was to receive the items before the holiday? You might be able to use that as leverage for a partial refund of the delivery charges.
