Wendy's Informative - Value menu changes
Recently here in my town, Wendy's raised the prices of a few of the value menu (dollar menu?) items to more than 99 cents. Example: The Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger went from 99 cents to $1.09. It is a very good sandwich and still remained a good bargain at the new price. But recently with their new national ads where the guys says "That's 75 Jr. Bacon Cheeseburgers" I guess they were forced to change all the value menu prices back to 99 cents. But, guess what? It seems that those items have been scaled back. The Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger always had 2 or 3 pieces of bacon on it. Now, since the price dropped back down to 99 cents, there has only been one piece of bacon on the sandwiches that we've bought. Why do companies always have to mess with a good thing?
