Expedia - Always Check Pricing

GOOD: I used Expedia to book a room at the Tropicana Hotel in Las Vegas - Expedia was much cheaper than the lowest rate I could get directly from the hotel.
BAD: I used Expedia to check on the price of a room at the Outrigger Royal Kahana, Maui, Hawaii and their lowest price was $165/night. I checked with the hotel directly and got a rate of $99/night.
Always check with the vendor before accepting Expedia even though Expedia does have lower rates sometimes - sometimes they don't.
