LYNNWOOD, WASHINGTON -- In 2009 we attempted to purchase a motor from Western Motor Coach in Bullhead AZ we paid 6000 dollars down with the agreement which we have in writing that if the deal was not approved we would receive our money back to this day we still have not received any money back and appears that we will never will. If we hire an attorney it will cost 3000 dollars upfront and we do not have that kind of money. Stay away from these people they are terrible and they are not trustworthy.

Sue them in small claims court. Most states allow suits of up to $5k.

if you have a signed contract stating as such to the refund, this can be handled in court yourselves.

You by no means need to utilize an attorney to receive a judgment within your favor. You can file in small claims court which will cost somewhere around $150. Small claims is entirely based upon the issue of a smaller ruling (even $6000) and doesn't require the use of attorneys. You just go to the court, with your paperwork, the day that you're scheduled and tell the judge your side of the story. If the judge agrees, you are likely to get the amount awarded plus the cost of filing and serving ($150).

My concern would be a statute of limitations. I'm not sure the length of time you have to bring this issue before a court. You'd likely want to investigate as you may already be outside of your time limits.

Best of luck.
