Ocean Acura of NJ Complaint - Low ballers - New Car Dealership

Review by Bob Hutt on 2006-01-20
OCEAN, NEW JERSEY -- Spent three hours in Ocean Acura negotiating to buy a new 2006 Acura TL. Warren the salesman did not want us to leave. We offered to lease for $1,500 down for $450 for 36 months. He went into his manager and agreed to sell the car for $475 contingent on the trade in we had to bring back. We shook hands on the deal. Three hours later we returned and the trade in met their standards. Despite this, they refused to honor the deal. They were willing to lease us the car by changing the terms of the lease from 36 to 42 months. Warren through the keys with force and said we had wasted his time. If you plan to buy from this dealership beware the lowballing.

They do not deliver on what they promise. Spoke with the Manager Steve Cotter who promised a return call. We're still waiting. Went to another dealership and leased the car for the same terms that were originally agreed upon. Ocean Acura is a den of thieves. Beware!
