Papa John's Pizza - Free Pizza Not So Great

I received an email from Papa John's informing me that I was a winner in their 200 million free pizza giveaway. Why can't I have this amazing luck with the Powerball!! Here's the deal. A free large pizza with one topping. Online menu price was $14.50 for pickup. I added three toppings increasing the price $5.00. Without the promotion it would have cost $19.50. So my free pizza ended up costing me $5.00, not a bad deal.

What a disappointment!! The toppings were so few it was laughable. Large was actually eight tiny slices equivalent to three regular size slices. It was undercooked with sparse cheese. They must be in competition with Domino's for the cheapest ripoff pizza. Sure the price was right but the quality was not there. I would have been really pizzed if I paid $19.50 for this. Needless to say I will not return.

Wrong Papa. we only deal with Papa Murphy's. No pizza ovens or freezers, so they can give what Papa John only promises, better ingredients. Papa John is right in one respect, better ingredients make a better pizza, sadly John does not get the best ingredients because he has to feed those energy gobbling ovens and freezers. Papa Murphy's all the way!
