HONOLULU, HAWAII -- NEVER BUYING AN HP COMPUTER AGAIN EVER!! AND NOBODY ELSE SHOULD EITHER! We have had the same problem with one of 3 computers we bought a year ago. And we have been calling and CALLING and tried to get the problem resolved and now that we are 10 day past our 1 year warranty they want us to purchase an extended warranty to replace the computer. WHY WOULD WE SPEND MORE MONEY ON SOMETHING THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN FIXED DURING THE WARRANTY PERIOD!!!! We depend on our computers for our office and it has been such an inconvenience to our patients and staff. DO NOT BUY HP!!!!

I'm so sorry to hear of the problem you're having with your HP Wade. I'm a computer specialist and I absolutely love HP, along with a majority of their products.
If the system has been serviced recently, you may want to contact the service center involved, as they often warranty their work for a period of time.
That aside, I don't hesitate to consider the purchase of extended warranties on this kind of purchase but find it more advantageous to do so with the purchase of the merchandise. If it does cost you something to get it running, do so. You'll find it well worth it.

What kind of problem? Was the computer ever sent for repair? If so, when? Was the problem ever believed to be fixed, but reoccurred? A few more details would be helpful.
