Wendys Complaint - What tyoe of business is this?
TERRE HAUTE, INDIANA -- Where do I begin? I work next to Wendy's on Wabash Ave. Since we only get 30 min for lunch, Wendy's is usually chosen. In the past 3 months I have had to wait in line while the grill cook gave free food to 6 of his friends, had to wait 10 minutes before someone would come to the grill to cook the food (and only AFTER I asked the manager on duty if I could get my food cooked), had to listen to the employees discussing their sex lives instead of waiting on the customer, received uncooked hamburgers, double hamburgers with no cheese on them, etc etc. It is so bad that my fellow employees actually created a petition informing them of the poor service and gave it to the manager. Obviously the manager didn't care as nothing was done. I now only visit this Wendys only when I forgot to bring lunch and am too hungry to wait until after work to eat. I have noticed that when I do eat there, there are very few customers (and sometimes none). I guess the word is out.
One day the man in front of me was asking about his order in a nice tone of voice and was rudely told by the MANAGER that the employees were working as fast as they could and there was no need for him to get upset! He was not being rude. He only inquired about his order which was taking forever. Walk ins have to wait for quite a while. However, if you go through the drive-thru you are waited on instantly.
To help keep me as a potential future customer, I would like the following:
Find a manager that cares about the store and can make sure the employees work in a professional manner.
At the very least I would like a response from your company regarding this incident. Thank you for your time.
