Priceline - They Make You Pre Pay and Then Cancel on You!

VANCOUVER, WASHINGTON -- I reserved a hotel room for 12/22/2012 and used my card to reserve for a friend. I went into the hotel once I picked up my friend from the airport and they said my hotel reservation was cancelled!!!
I then called Priceline and they said my reservation does not show cancelled. I then proceeded to tell them the hotel shows cancelled and I had to pay AGAIN (separately) for a room. They basically told me tough luck, I prepaid for the room and their is NOTHING THEY CAN DO FOR ME.
So my reservation may have saved me $10 but in the end cost me two hotel reservations and they won't refund my money!

It sounds to me like that would be an extremely easy charge to dispute with your bank, assuming there was a second charge made.
