ANNAPOLLIS, MARYLAND -- What's going on with JCPenney and their decision to discontinue the Cabin Creek Clothing Line? They were quality clothes, with proper sizing and prices that in line with the middle class and older generation. We have bought this line for years and it worked for the working class. What's up JCPenney? Are you only interested in the Yuppy, younger generation who are size 2? You will lose those of us who loved this line and I will not be shopping there much any more. You used to be a good store and now it is overpriced with the merchandise available.

The line has been discontinued for some time. I do still see the product available on Ebay and other such sites. As for JC Penney's marketing decision and your comment about the younger generation businesswise it makes sense. Younger people more readily spend larger amounts of money in retail establishments for basics such as clothing; while those of us who are maturing are more cognizant of the need to be thrifty. From a marketing standpoint a company is interested in maximum profit in a shorter time vs the thrifty shopper.

JCPenney went after the wrong demographic. Kids don't have money and if they do.. they are buying the newest electronic doodads. The malls are lined with stores for younger people, they aren't just going to start shopping at JCP. So JCP is left with no customers. The only thing that kept JCP alive are the parents and grandparents buying for everyone in the family.
Now with Cabin Creek, St. John's Bay gone, most men's Big and Tall and Women's Plus have been taken out of the stores, I really don't know who they are going to be selling to.

I am very dissaointed JCPenny,I had been buying cabin creek in tall lengths for years and you were the only store I could find them. You may think the recent change is good but I hate it, and you lost my business.

Jcp used to have jnco hoodies that i loved. They ran out of business i think and i stopped going there.
