Georgia's Own Credit Union - Great Customer Service - Found Lost Deposit

ATLANTA, GEORGIA -- I deposited 2 checks into my credit union account on a Friday. I did this inside a credit union service center, which was not my actual credit union. As of Monday no deposit, so I called my credit union to find out what was going on. The representative at GA's Own was in touch with the credit union where I made the deposit. Apparently the teller had transposed a number in my account number. By Tuesday morning I had gotten a call from the woman who did the research at my credit union and she told me to expect everything to post overnight Tuesday. Happily it did.

I doubt very seriously one of the monster mega-banks would have been as helpful or efficient at finding my money!

I've got to compliment you on this review. Too often this kind of situation results in a complaint about the initial mistake rather than the positive action taken to correct the issue.

madconsumer - glad to hear B of A has been helpful to you. They misplaced a deposit as well. It definitely took more than 1 business day after I called for it to be fixed.
