Enterprise Car Rental - Totally Dishonest/Lack Of Customer Service
MERCED, CALIFORNIA -- My husband works approx 5hrs away from home. While he's gone during the week, I maintain our household of 4 children. The 6 of us live for our weekend visits. I made the reservation for the rental. That was done w/o incident. So imagine our surprise, when I made a courtesy call to office only to advise my husband was on his way. (I figured it was a nice thing to do since it was Friday evening @ 5:30). Imagine my surprise when Augi, same gentleman who made my reservation, is now saying there is a problem w/my insurance. That is totally absurd! After arguing this w/him, his story changed to the problem is now my passed due water bill that I submitted only as proof of residency. I STILL DON'T SEE HOW THIS HAS ANYTHING W/MY CAR RENTAL..AS I'VE NEVER BEEN ASKED THIS BEFORE. The story continues...but ends w/the fact that they (both staff members: Jessica & Augi) blatantly lied and ultimately sent my husband away *because they do not accept debit cards .. and so he left w/NOTHING BUT DIRECTIONS TO THE RENTAL AGENCY DOWN THE STREET! OUR ENTIRE FAMILY IS TOTALLY APALLED AND WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS W/ENTERPRISE AGAIN!
