KINGMAN, ARIZONA -- Product ceased working in nov., Dates were made to repair unit, to be exact five, three tech went home sick (no one else showed up). Number 4 tech came ordered parts, parts came, but tech did not. Finally, came december 14th, what he did, I do not know, because unit still did not work. The receipt that the tech left stated wrong parts were sent but did not say whether he put them in or not. I called sears master agreement plan for tech to come back out. They said, sure hold on,. Ok he willbe there jan 22nd 2013. Better than six weeks wait. I said we can not wait that long, sorry but thats it. Go buy a heater and we will pay for it, but who is going to pay for extra electric? No answer. I bought the heater, but it did not do the job. Their attitude to me is and was tuff_____ I am a world war 2 vet, we both are over 80 and it's taking it's toll on us. Kingman has been in the 30s for over a month.

Unfortunately, complaints such as yours are becoming all to common with regard to Sears service (or lack thereof). You can make a complaint at http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/index.shtml and/or https://www.azag.gov/consumer but that's not likely to bring any quick action. Getting an independent heating contractor to try and fix the unit or just getting a new heater may be the best option at this point. Hopefully you can get some of your money back from Sears, but I wouldn't count on it. Good luck.
