HOUSTON, TEXAS -- I have subcribes to the chronicle for years without any problems until I moved into a senior citizen apt. I feel like I'm being decrimanted because I am OLD. 3rd day of the year 2 days no paper. In December 5 days were missing. Every month since I moved in, in July I haven't received quite a few papers. On the 24th my renewal is up, I will be thinking long and hard about renewing!!!!

Have you contacted anyone at the Chronicle about this? What did they say?

Might your neighbors in the apartment complex be getting up before you do, and...um..."borrowing" your paper?

It can be surprising, how many people think that any newspaper in view is public property. I've had people try to snatch my own paper that I paid for, from my table at McDonald's. (I now make sure to keep the plastic newspaper bag with me.)
