CINCINNATI, OHIO -- I have a microwave that just gave out (14 months after buying). It was not covered by manufacturer warranty and I needed the store help in replacing the receipt. When they could not easily replace what I lost, they told me to bring in the microwave and they replaced it with a new one. I was very pleasantly surprised to say thte least.
It was not their problem but they stepped in and took care of it anyway.
My compliemnts to the employees I dealt with and the company as a whole. HD is right down the street from my house and Lowes is quite a ways away. But with this kind of service, I will drive the extra distance.
