Ashley Furniture Home Store - Horrible Experience!

BRENTWOOD, TENNESSEE -- I purchased furniture on 11/30/12 and as of 1/4/13 I still do not have it. They called to set up a date (which they only deliver to my area on Fridays) with an explanation they will call day before to give you the time frame. I had to take off work. They called the night before and said one piece did not come in and they would not be delivering. They called 2 weeks later and set up another day. I had to take off work again. I talked to them yesterday and they set up a 3-6 time frame. They never showed up or called! I will never buy from Ashley Furniture again!

Ashley stores seem to make a habit of missing deliveries, delivering damaged furniture and other customer service failures.

Did you cancel the purchase Deanna? The solution is obvious, in my opinion. I'd cancel the order. Explain that you're through waiting and, assuming they're going to give you grief about a refund, dispute the charge on the credit card you hopefully purchased it with. I'd do it now though. Generally, after 60 days you don't have the ability to reverse said charges.
