Camera Lens - Complaint
SOMEWHERE, NEW YORK -- I found this site on line when I went looking for a camera. I found the camera I liked and clicked on it; this camera had different packages (bundles) you could order (extra lens tripod, filter kit...etc). I did opted for one of the "bundles". When I called a few days later to check on my order I was told that my camera model had been upgraded to a "better model" and that I was being charged an extra $100. When I protested he said well since I was a first time buyer he would upgrde for $50. After he told what the difference was and I checked on line (while we were on the phone) to make sure he was telling me the truth I said fine $50. He then informed me that he could upgrade the extra lens I ordered for another $50. Once again we went through what I had ordered versus what the upgraded lens would be. I became real skepitical because he's offering me $300 lens for $50, but if he was willing to send then fine $50. I got the camera with some of the extras I ordered but no filter kit and no extra lens. This has been since Dec 14, every time I call I get a different run around; the last being we shipped it 1/07/2013 and here's your tracking number. Well I was told in Dec that those lens had shipped. so starting tomorrow 1/11/2013 I'm going to have the USPS customer service start an investigation into the tracking number that was given to me if the lens don't show up by then. The reason being the tracking number I was given is only a indication that the shipper has a package to be shipped.
