Dont Buy Any Thing Major From Best Buy

CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, PENNSYLVANIA -- I will not buy or go back into a Best Buy store to buy a TV or any other major item. I have a Sony LCD and I am having problems with it and won't fix it. The employees are pretty much calling me a liar on it. I would stay away from any TV or major items. Any before I took the TV into the store I called them and I was talking to the guy to see if it was still under warranty and it problem for him to look it up he didn't want to do it.

Whether or not this is under warranty is important to evaluating the complaint, as is the reason that they gave for not doing anything to fix it.

What did they allege you lied about?

Unfortunately your review leaves out a lot of details Billy. As trmn8r states, the warranty is important as to whom will be covering the costs of the service. Is it under manufacturer's warranty? Do you have an extended service agreement through Best Buy?

In Year 1, it is under mfr warranty. It is the sole responsibility of the consumer to retain the paperwork. Most retailers purge their store database after 90 or 120 days, give or take. If you paid by CC, there is a trail through the credit card company. If cash, you are SOL.
