Wal-Mart Pharmacy - Senior Citizen Mistreatment
Prescription-Pharmacy Service - Complaint
BLACKSTONE, VIRGINIA -- I am my mother's caretaker;she lives with me. She had a liver transplant in 2010 and has certain meds she needs to live. We just moved out here to Nottoway County from Dinwiddie County;we have used this pharmacy before and have dealt with rudeness, ignorance, and anything else you can come up with. Thursday, January 10,2013,I took the box into the pharmacy so they could see it and fill the right one. When I went back later that evening to pick it up, the pharmacist said he couldn't get it to go through her insurance;they were refusing it.
He was rude and cutting my sentences off when I tried to talk to him. Instead of him getting on the phone with AARP, he said we needed to call them and get it straight. When my mother called to talk with them on Friday morning, January 11,2013,they gave her a hard and told her they still were having problems getting it to go through.
She called back to speak with the pharmacy manager, a woman, she was very nasty to my mom and said she didn't have time to talk to her, she had work to do and that she would have to find another pharmacy to fill her prescription because they didn't have the time to deal with it. We went to Walgreen's to get it done.
