MISSOURI -- Started with this company Sept. 1, 2012. After 3 fills of a prescription at local pharmacy, it's required that prescriptions be sent into mail order pharmacy. My physician sent them in on Dec. 31, 2012, but today I was told it's not in the system. Left 3 voicemails for my doctor & went by her office to ask about the same. Haven't heard back from her, after asking her to resubmit prescriptions.

So I'm out of 4 maintenance medications & my health insurance company appears not to want to help me stay healthy. I've done my part & then some.

It is fairly standard practice for insurers to require that maintenance medications be filled through mail order pharmacies. It sounds as of your doctor could be at fault here as they are not responding to either your messages or your personal visits to the office.

Sounds like the issue is with your doctor not responding vs. your insurance company not providing quality health care.
