TV Service and Contract - Complaint
DANVILLE, PENNSYLVANIA -- This posting is not my full complaint, refer to complaint section for this information. I would like for prospective DirecTV customers to beware of what they are purchasing. This involves a over the phone explanation of your contract which takes a lawyer to interpret the fine print for you. You will be you HAVE to give your credit card number to sign up. They now have the right to charge that credit card for overdue and cancellation charges incurred. Once you have reached your two year contract date they have the ability to increase your account charges for the services you receive. These charges can increase your packcage price around 50% as in our case. You will have to bargain with them to reduce the price. If you decide to cancel service they find all the "fine print" items that they can charge you. These charges will be applied to that credit card you provided when you started the service. READ ALL FINE PRINT ABOUT YOUR SERVICE AND EQUIPMENT and BUYER BEWARE always.
